Mountain Home D.A.R.E. Graduation

Over 300 Mountain Home 5th Grade students crossed the stage last night at Dunbar Auditorium to celebrate their graduating the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program. Numerous family and friends were present to support the class of 2019.
Students were presented with awards for their achievement in the program along with recognizing the teachers for their support.
Guest speakers were Hackler Intermediate School Principal Allyson Dewey, Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, Prior Sheriff and current Deputy/Pilot for the Sheriff's Office Benny Magness. Deputy Magness was presented with a plaque for being a founder and strong supporter of the D.A.R.E. program in Baxter County.
