Norfork School District celebrated their 6th Grade Students graduation from DARE last night. Deputy Billy Cox lead the commencement for the students that he has worked with all year. DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), and GREAT (Gang Resistance Education and Training) were provided by Deputy Cox this year. Friends and family were in attendance to help celebrate the event. The Norfork SADD students (Students Against Destructive Decisions) provided a cook out after the graduation for all that attended.
Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery addressed the graduating class on how choices they make now can have an effect on the rest of their lives.
Individual students received awards for their achievement during the year!
