     The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a rural Midway man has registered as a Level 3 (High Risk to Re-Offend) Sex Offender at the Sheriff’s Office and is now residing in Baxter County.

DATE OF BIRTH:   01/14/1978 

HOME ADDRESS:  34 Sweet Fern Lane (Midway Oaks)
                                    Midway, Arkansas 72651 

     This offender was recently released from the Detention Center and is now residing at the address indicated.  This offender was convicted of Computer Child Pornography and Sexual Indecency with a Child on 11/09/2007.  Documentation indicates this offense involved the offender engaging in sexually explicit internet communication and arranging to meet with a person he believed to be a 14 year old female.  During his SOSRA interview, this offender disclosed additional sexual encounters involving a 10 or 11 year old female when he was 14 or 15; a 13 or 14 year old female when he was 18; a 15 year old female when he was 20; and a 15 year old female when he was 23. 

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
