Two Arrested For Breaking or Entering

July 14, 2012 at approximately 7:20 pm, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on CR 30 of someone trying to break into residence. When Deputies arrived there was no one there however a witness told deputies the people had left just prior to their arrival.
Approximately one hour later, Deputies were dispatched back to the same residence. When Deputies arrived they observed a light on inside a detached garage. Deputies could see two suspects attempting to hide in the corner of the garage through an open window but they refused to open the door. After a few minutes the male suspect opened the door and initially provided a false name and claimed he had permission to be there. The owner of the property was contacted and stated they did not have permission to be there. After further investigation by Deputies, the two arrested and taken into custody without further incident. The female suspect was found to have in her possession a controlled substance, Clonazepam, in which she admitted she did not have a prescription for but had obtained from someone she cared for.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with:
Jason Anthony King, age 35 of Mountain Home
Breaking or Entering Felony
Obstructing Governmental Operations Misdemeanor
Warrant-Failure to Appear, BXSO Misdemeanor
Warrant-Failure to Appear, MHPD Misdemeanor
Total Bond $5,690
Heather Joy Hodges, age 23 of Elizabeth, Arkansas
Breaking or Entering Felony
Poss of Controlled Subst-Clonazepam Felony
Total Bond $5,000
They are being held pending their appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on July 26, 2012 at 9 am.
