     Saturday, June 09 at approximately 5:30 pm, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office was contacted to assist Rangers from the Corps of Engineers at the Panther Bay Boat Launch Ramp.  Deputy Kris Savino responded and after took into custody three individuals.

     Investigation revealed that there were four individuals on a boat and the driver of the boat was consuming alcohol. The boat was stopped by Corps Rangers and a check of the occupants revealed three minors and one 27-year old adult in the boat.  Two of the minors had been drinking along with the adult male.  The fourth passenger, a 20-year old female had not been drinking.

     Deputy Savino took the three into custody and transported them to the Baxter County Detention Center.  The three were charged with:

Jerrod Wayne Haynes, age 27 of Wheatley, Arkansas
                Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Class A Misdemeanor           Bond   $530.00

Clinton Wesley Pigue, age 19 of Jonesboro, Arkansas
                Minor in Possession of Alcohol                                  Bond   $230.00

Brody Shane Elder, age 20 of Jonesboro, Arkansas
                Minor in Possession of Alcohol                                  Bond   $230.00

     The three were booked into the Baxter County Detention Center where they each posted bond awaiting their appearance in Baxter County District Court on July 12, at 9 am.
