GERALD PHILLIP MORRIS, 31 years old of rural Mountain Home, was arrested this morning on an outstanding bench warrant for felony charges related to the distribution of methamphetamine. 

     A private individual working with Sheriff’s investigators made a controlled buy of approximately 1.7 grams of methamphetamine from GERALD MORRIS on February 23, 2012.  A cellular phone was utilized in facilitating the transaction. 

     GERALD MORRIS is currently in the Detention Center charged with: 

Delivery of Methamphetamine – Class B Felony
Unlawful Use of Communication Device – Class C Felony
Probation Violation 

     He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond, and will appear in Circuit Court on April 12^th.
