DRUG CHARGES FILED AGAINST MOUNTAIN HOME MAN

Felony drug charges have been filed against a Mountain Home man, 19 year old ANDREW C. MORRIS, as the result of investigations into narcotics activity in the area.
Sheriff’s Investigators and other officers made controlled buys from MORRIS on three separate instances in November, 2011. These buys were for oxycodone, methamphetamine, and xanax. The buys involved the use of a cellular telephone to make arrangements for the transactions. Investigators Trey Edings then obtained a warrant for the arrest of ANDREW MORRIS, which was served today.
ANDREW MORRIS has been incarcerated in the Detention Center on charges of:
Delivery of Schedule II Controlled Substance (3 counts) – Class C Felony
Delivery of Schedule IV Controlled Substance – Class D Felony
Delivery of Methamphetamine – Class C Felony
Unlawful use of communication device (3 counts) – Class C Felony
MORRIS is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond, and he is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on February 16th.
