MOUNTAIN HOME WOMAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT BY RECEIVING

Twenty year old PAIGE LEANNE PARRETT of Mountain Home has been arrested and charged with felony Theft by Receiving following an investigation into a residential burglary that occurred at 213 Century Park Terrace between October 15th and October 19th.
Stolen during this burglary were a .5 carat diamond wedding band valued at $1,200 and a gold wedding set with diamond cluster valued at $2,000. Sheriff’s Investigators developed a suspect and began to check pawn shop transactions reported through the “Leads On Line” system. By using this process, Investigators found that PAIGE LEANNE PARRETT, the girlfriend of the suspect, had pawned two rings at area pawn shops on October 19th. Investigators later confirmed that these rings were the ones stolen during the burglary.
PARRETT was interviewed at the Sheriff’s Office and admitted receiving the rings from the burglary suspect and pawning them. She was subsequently incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $5,000. She will appear in Circuit Court today.
