INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY INTO DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE WITH INJURIES
11/03/2011
Although minimal information is currently available, Baxter County Sheriff’s Deputies now have three persons detained relating to a Domestic Disturbance call at 3:38 PM from 474 Pioneer Trail Drive in rural Mountain Home that involved injuries to two persons, one of which may be from a stabbing.
The 911 Center received a call reporting the disturbance with injuries, to which deputies and emergency medical personnel responded. Prior to the arrival of officers, three persons left the scene in a white station wagon. Baxter County Deputy Billy Cox located the vehicle at 3:47 PM and initiated a stop on it on State Highway 5 South near the intersection of State Highway 342. Other officers responded to assist, and the three occupants were detained and have been taken to the criminal investigation offices to be interviewed. A weapon of some type has been seized. It appears that two victims from 474 Pioneer Trail Drive were transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
The identity of neither the victims nor the suspects have been confirmed as of this time. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
