JUVENILE USES FALSE NAME IN PREVIOUS ARREST AND COURT PROCEEDINGS;
09/30/2011
On May 7, 2011, Sheriff’s Deputy William Altazan arrested a Mountain Home youth on misdemeanor drug charges. The arrested youth provided Deputy Altazan, Detention Center Jailers, and officers at Baxter County District Court with a false name and other false information. He signed various documents using the false name, and was convicted of the drug charge under the false name on July 28, 2011.
Today, September 30th, the Sheriff’s Office was notified by a District Court Probation Officer that he learned the defendant had used a false name during his earlier court proceedings. The true identity of the person was determined, and he was found to be a 17 year old juvenile with a valid juvenile pick up order from the State of Washington, as well as being wanted on felony auto theft charges.
Sheriff’s Lt. Terry Johnson today took the juvenile into custody on charges of Forgery in the Second Degree, which is a Class C Felony. The juvenile was then transferred into the custody of Baxter County Juvenile Services for further processing.

Baxter County Sheriff
