Mountain Home Man Arrested After Receiving Controlled Substance in Fed Ex Package

A Mountain Home man was arrested without incident at his residence shortly after an undercover officer delivered a Fed Ex Package to him.
Baxter County Sheriff’s Investigators developed information that a controlled substance was being shipped by way of Fed Ex to a residence on Pioneer Trail. A search warrant was obtained and executed on a package at approximately 6:30 PM on Thursday evening. The package revealed a synthetic K-2 Derivative, a Schedule 6 controlled substance.
At approximately 11:37 am on Friday, an undercover officer working for the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force delivered the package to the suspect at 845 Pioneer Trail. The suspect signed for the package, and paid the COD charge on the package by money order. A few minutes later, Investigators from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the Mountain Home Police Department, the Arkansas State Police and 14th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a 2nd search warrant on the residence and took the suspect into custody.
Investigators found scales, plastic baggies, mixing bowls and other substances used in the manufacturing of a controlled substance. They also found drug paraphernalia and evidence that the controlled substance had been consumed at the residence.
Timothy Armand Fields, age 35 was charged with:
Manufacturing of a Schedule 6 Controlled Substance -- Class C Felony
Possession of a Schedule 6 Controlled Substance -- Class C Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia -- Class D Felony
Fields was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on Bond of $10,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on September 1, at 9 AM.
The investigation is continuing with more arrests possible.
