Follow-up report on death of Richard A. Homan, Cotter Railroad Depot on 07/28/2011

The Sheriff’s Office has received the preliminary autopsy report from the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock concerning the July 28th death of 64 year old Richard A. Homan in Mountain Home.

Mr. Homan of rural Mountain Home was found deceased at the Cotter Railroad Depot after authorities received a call at 9:11 PM from a person who found Mr. Homan unresponsive there. 

The preliminary autopsy report indicated that Mr. Homan had died of natural causes related to heart disease, although he did sustain some injuries when he fell. 

Agencies responding to the scene and participating in the investigation were the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Cotter Police Department, and Gassville Police Department.
