TRIO OF NORFORK AREA RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH FELONY DRUG OFFENSES

A trio of Norfork area residents have been arrested on felony drug charges following a joint investigation by officers of several agencies. On June 22, 2011 at approximately 2:30 PM, officers stopped a vehicle operated by Deborah Due and occupied by Duane Tolliver, based upon information officers received indicating that the two had been purchasing products known to be used in the production of methamphetamine. During the stop, officers identified and seized solvents, pseudoephedrine, lye, ammonium sulfate, and other precursors, as well as a small amount of methamphetamine. Both subjects were arrested without incident and transported to the Detention Center.
Officers then prepared and obtained Search Warrants for two separate residences on Baxter CR 215 in the Norfork area. The first warrant was served at 630 CR 215 at approximately 5:40 PM. The second warrant was served simultaneously at 647 CR 215, which is directly across the street from the other residence. During the execution of the warrants, officers found and seized additional evidentiary items, including scales and other paraphernalia, as well as an additional small amount of methamphetamine. A third person, Michael Tolliver, was arrested also in conjunction with the investigation. Both searches were concluded at approximately 7:30 PM.
Those arrested and their charges are:
DEBORAH JEAN DUE, 44 years old of CR 215 in Norfork, charged with:
Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) – Felony
Criminal Attempt to Manufacture Cont. Subst – Felony
Possession of Firearm by a Felon – Felony
DEBORAH DUE was incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $15,000.
DUANE LAWRENCE TOLLIVER, 57 years old of CR 215 in Norfork, charged with:
Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) – Felony
Criminal Attempt to Manufacture Cont. Subst – Felony
DUANE TOLLIVER was incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $15,000.
MICHAEL RAY TOLLIVER, 55 years old of CR 215 in Norfork, charged with:
Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Parole Violation
MICHAEL TOLLIVER was incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $50,000.
All three arrestees will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on June 30th. Agencies involved in the investigation and arrests were the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police Department, Flippin Police Department, Norfork Police Department, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Department of Community Corrections, and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force.
