Two men have been charged with the theft of a Kubota RTV on October 21, 2010 from the Twin Lakes Farm and Lawn business on US Highway 62, West of Mountain Home. The RTV was valued at $12,000.
Marion County Sheriff's Investigators executed a search warrant on December 6, 2010 in the Ray Valley area and recovered two Kawasaki Mule RTVs that had been stolen in Central Arkansas. The two men were developed as suspects in both cases.
Joshua A. Bates, age 25 of Flippin, Arkansas was arrested without incident on an arrest warrant and charged with:
Theft of Property Class B Felony
Bates is currently incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center on bond of $20,000 pending his arraignment in Baxter County Circuit Court on June 30.
The second suspect, David C. Sessions, age 38, is currently serving time in a Louisiana State Penitentiary. Sessions will be extradited back to Arkansas to face the same charges upon his release.
The Kubota RTV has not been recovered at this time but authorities believe it is hidden somewhere in Northeast Texas. The investigation is continuing.
