A Michigan warrant for Non Payment of Child Support has landed a Lakeview woman in jail after she was arrested this morning at the Sheriff's Office.

     BRENDA GAIL MITCHELL, 48 years old of Lakeview, came to the Sheriff's Office at approximately 11:52 AM today to be fingerprinted for potential employment in a local healthcare facility.  As part of a standard check procedure, MITCHELL was run through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) system and found to have an outstanding felony warrant for not paying child support.

     The warrant was confirmed as valid by the State of Michigan, and MITCHELL was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center to be incarcerated pending extradition to Michigan.  The bond on the Michigan warrant was $39,178.74.
