INVESTIGATORS SERVE SEARCH WARRANT THIS MORNING AND FIND WORKING METH LAB.
12/21/2010
Eight persons are in custody at the Detention Center awaiting the determination of charges after Sheriff’s Investigators and other officers uncovered a working methamphetamine lab this morning while serving a Search Warrant at 80 Apple Blossom Cr., which is off Baxter CR 69, South of Mountain Home.
Investigators developed leads and accumulated information over the past weeks that allowed them to obtain a warrant to search the premises, which was served at 7:34 AM today. Investigators found and seized drug paraphernalia, precursers, and an undetermined quantity of methamphetamine from the residence. Investigators remained on scene until late this afternoon.
A professional lab clean-up crew was called in to remove and dispose of the precursers and other items found. Additional information, including the names and charges of those taken into custody, will be released after the investigation has concluded.
Agencies involved in the service of the search warrant and subsequent investigation were the Sheriff's Office, Mountain Home Police Department, Arkansas State Police, and 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force.
