10/28/2010
A Mountain Home probationer was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with several crimes after Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:43 PM at 59 Waterview Circle in the Cranfield area.
The caller told dispatchers that there was someone at the residence who had “turned the place upside down”. Further investigation by Sheriff’s Investigator Mike Day revealed that the offender, identified as Michael Cody Everett, had broken into the residence and began destroying property and fixtures. The damage was in excess of $500. The residence belonged to a person known to Everett with whom he had a dispute. Everett had left the residence prior to the arrival of deputies, but he was later located and detained at the District Court Probation Office.
Michael Cody Everett, 25 years old of Mountain Home, was arrested and transported to the Detention Center for processing. At the Detention Center, Jailers discovered that Everett was attempting to bring a condom filled with tobacco into the facility. Everett was ultimately charged with:
Residential Burglary – Felony
Criminal Mischief 1st Degree – Felony
Furnishing Prohibited Articles – Felony
Probation Violation – District Court Misdemeanor
Bail for Everett on his felony charges was set at $25,000, with an appearance in Circuit Court set for today.
