Sunday, May 2, 2010, at approximately 5:54 pm, at the request of Lakeview Police, the Baxter County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call of an apparent suicide in the City of Lakeview. When Sheriff's Deputies arrived they found 40 year old Stacy Paul Beavers, of Lakeview, deceased in his apartment.

     Initial investigations by Baxter County Sheriff's Investigators, indicates that Mr. Beavers died of a self inflicted gunshot wound from a 22 caliber handgun.

     The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime lab to determine manner and cause of death. The investigation is continuing.
