Five Baxter County youths were charged with being Minors in Possession of alcohol on November 14th after the Sheriff's Office received a complaint of juveniles consuming alcohol at a residence on Wild Cat Shoals Road.

Sheriff's Deputy Charles Bost and a Gassville Police Officer went to the residence to investigate. They found eight underage persons at the residence, and five of them had been consuming alcohol. The owner of the home was out of town, and her child was hosting a party.

One 18 year old minor, Shadoe Z. McGowan of Gassville, was arrested for Minor in Possession of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, and cited to appear in District Court. Four juveniles ranging in age from 15 to 17 were taken into custody for Minor in Possession and turned over to Baxter County Juvenile Services.
