SHERIFF'S FOUNDATION RECEIVES DONATIONS FOR SHERIFF'S EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE
06/05/2024
Baxter County Sheriff's Office employees who sustained damages, loss, or injuries during the recent tornado event will be eligible to apply for monetary assistance from the Baxter County Sheriff's Foundation, Inc., a domestic 501c3 non-profit organization. The Foundation's Board of Directors recently created an employee benefit and relief fund after several donations were received for that specific purpose.
The money set aside for this relief fund came about after four women became aware that some Sheriff's Office employees had sustained loss and could use assistance. These women collectively donated $7,250 for Sheriff's Office employee relief benefits. After the Foundation received these donations, the Foundation's Board of Directors then voted to match the donations from existing Foundation funds.
Employees who sustained loss, damage, or injuries have been instructed to provide details to their supervisors, and this information will be forwarded to a special committee of the Foundation's Board for consideration of approval.
The Baxter County Sheriff's Office is very grateful to these four ladies and to the Sheriff's Foundation for this tremendous support shown to our employees. Our employees deeply appreciate this outpouring of concern and encouragement.
