Two persons are dead in an incident that is being investigated as a murder-suicide.  At approximately 5:46 AM this morning, the Sheriff's Office was notified by the 9-1-1 Call Center that it had received a call from a woman at 805 Buford Road who said she had shot her husband and had then shot herself.

    A nearby deputy arrived just a short time later.  He made entry into the residence and confirmed that a man and a woman were both deceased in the bedroom from gunshot wounds.  Other relatives at the residence had already just found the bodies after they had forced entry into the locked bedroom just before the deputy arrived on scene.

     Sheriff's Investigators and the Baxter County Coroner's Office were called to the scene.  The deceased were identified as 43 year old JAMES WILMANS and his wife, 52 year old MARCY WILMANS.  The bodies are being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office in Little Rock to confirm cause and manner of death.   The investigative file will remain open pending the autopsy results.
