The Sheriff's Office was called to investigate a death last Friday evening.

     The incident was reported on Friday, August 20th, at a residence on Fout Rd in the Gamaliel area.  EMS personnel were dispatched to a non-responsive female at that address.  When deputies arrived, they found the female to be deceased, and the County Coroner's Office was called to the scene.  The deceased was identified as 46 year old MARNI K. STUBBS of Gamaliel.  She had been discovered by her boyfriend, who then called 9-1-1 and began CPR.  The decedent was sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office in Little Rock to for autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
