DEPUTY ARRESTS MAN ON DRUG CHARGES EARLY THIS MORNING

The Sheriff's Office arrested 40 year old KEVIN WAYDE BECK of Mountain Home early this morning on various drug charges after responding to a disturbance call. At approximately 12:09 AM, Deputy Bryce Hinson arrived at the Citgo Station on Buzzard Roost Road in response to a man yelling at a woman and threatening her. This man was identified as KEVIN BECK.
When Deputy Hinson arrived, he made contact with BECK, who was getting into a pickup truck intending to leave. BECK was detained and arrested by the deputy because of an outstanding body attachment for non-payment of child support. At the time of arrest, BECK was searched. The deputy found a black pouch on BECK's person that contained a scale, spoon, three needles, clear baggies, and small bags of various substances believed to be approximately 6.28 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 1.74 grams of cocaine.
KEVIN BECK was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center and booked on charges of:
Possession of Controlled Substance with Purpose of Delivery - Felony
Possession of Controlled Substance (simple possession) - Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) - Felonies
Body Attachment - Child Support Non-Payment
KEVIN BECK is being held in custody in lieu of $15,000 bond on the drug charges and will appear in Circuit Court to answer those on April 22nd. In addition, BECK is being held on an outstanding arrest warrant from Montgomery County, Missouri for a probation violation.
