SHERIFF'S OFFICE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ADMIN OFFICE DEPUTY

The Baxter County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff - Administration Division.
This position is responsible for handling a wide variety of duties, primarily in an office setting. This includes taking incident/offense reports, fingerprinting, serving warrants and civil process, running errands to the court house, banks, and other offices, registering sex offenders, answering phones and emails, as well as many other associated duties. From time to time, any other duties generally and customarily associated with full time law enforcement services may be required.
Applicants should possess at least a basic certification from the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST) as a full time certified law enforcement officer. Out of state equivalency may be accepted upon adequate review. This is a full time position, with all county benefits provided. The normal work week will be Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM, holidays excepted. Additional or alternative scheduling may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the Sheriff's Office. The beginning rate of pay for this position as established by the Baxter County Quorum Court will range between $12.83 and $16.04 per hour,depending on prior experience, training, and education.
