Jennifer Lorene McCord |
The Sheriff's Office has arrested 38 year old JENNIFER LORENE McCORD of rural Mountain Home on outstanding arrest warrants and also for drug offenses.
Thursday evening, February 11th, Deputy Craig Kocka was patrolling in the Midway area. He saw a car sitting in the dark at the Midway car wash and pulled in to investigate. When he pulled in, a female exited the vehicle. She initially did not want to provide the deputy with her name because she had outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court. She was subsequently identified as JENNIFER McCORD. The warrants were confirmed, and the deputy placed her under arrest on the warrants.
Upon inquiry, McCORD informed the deputy that she had methamphetamine and a meth pipe in her jacket pockets. These were retrieved and taken into evidence. The methamphetamine weighed approximately 2.4 grams.
JENNIFER McCORD was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center and booked on charges of:
Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) - Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Felony
Failure to Appear in Court (2 outstanding misdemeanor warrants)
McCORD has a bond of $5,000 on the drug charges and a bond of $655 on the misdemeanor warrants. She will appear before the Circuit Court to answer on February 18th.
