Jordan, Arkansas Man Arrested for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm
On this date at approximately 10:10 am, Deputy Craig Kocka was running stationary radar on Jordan Road. Kocka observed and clocked a black pickup traveling 23 mph over the speed limit. A traffic stop was initiated.
It was determined that the man driving the truck, 39-year-old Chris Brim, had a suspended driver's license and was driving without insurance. Brim, a multiple time convicted felon, is on Felony probation with a search waiver on file. While conducting a search of the truck, a 45 caliber Ruger pistol was located under the front seat of the truck.
Chris Allen Brim, age 39 of Jordan, Arkansas was arrested and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center without incident. Brim was charged with:
Speeding
Defective Vehicle Equipment
No Insurance
Driving on a Suspended Driver's License
Felon in Possession of a Firearm
Chris Allen Brim was released after posting a $5,000 bond pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on November 19, 2020.
