Two people have been arrested after contraband was found at a residence during a probation home visit. On October 21st, officers from the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, Mountain Home Police Department, and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force went to an address on Dixie Street in Mountain Home, the residence of probationer JEREMI JASON WITT. The home visit was initiated after information had been received indicating that WITT was using and selling methamphetamine.
Officers made contact with JEREMI WITT at the residence as well as with his girlfriend MICHELLE ZBRANEK. During a search of the areas of the residence that JEREMI WITT and MICHELLE ZBRANEK had occupancy of, officers found approximately .5 grams methamphetamine, marijuana, and numerous articles of drug paraphernalia including digital scales, several syringes, and glass smoking devices. These items were seized and taken into evidence.
After further investigation, officers applied for arrest warrants for WITT and ZBRANEK. They were both arrested today and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center and booked on the following charges:
JEREMI JASON WITT, 40 years old of Mountain Home, booked on charges of:
Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) with Purpose to Deliver - Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) - Felonies
Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance (marijuana) - Misdemeanor
Habitual Offender - Penalty Enhancement
WITT has a bond of $15,000 on these charges but is also being held without bond for a probation violation. Information indicates WITT has been booked into the Baxter County Detention Center 38 times previously
MICHELLE LYNN ZBRANEK, 41 years old of Mountain Home, booked on charges of:
Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) with Purpose to Deliver - Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) - Felonies

Both will appear before the Circuit Court to answer the charges in November.
