Lakeview Man Arrested After Probation Visit

9/2/2020 Information was developed by narcotic officers there was drug activity at a residence on Willingham Road in Lakeview, Arkansas. Officers from the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, 14th Judicial Drug Task Force, Mountain Home Police Department, and Arkansas Community Corrections responded to that address on Willingham Road, The camper trailer was occupied by Johnny Gordey who is currently on parole for drug related charges and had a signed search waiver on file.
Upon arrival, Officers could hear movement inside the camper trailer. Officers knocked on the door and after several minutes Gordey finally came to the door. A search of the defendant and the residence was conducted. Officers discovered Gordey had concealed inside his pants, a glass smoking device containing methamphetamine residue. On the dining table were numerous small resealable baggies similar in size and style to those commonly used to package methamphetamine. Also found inside the bathroom of the residence was approximately .5 grams of a white crystalline substance that field tested positive for both methamphetamine and fentanyl. A review of the defendant's criminal history revealed multiple felony drug convictions

Habitual Offender
