The Sheriff's Office was called to investigate a reported suicide Friday morning, August 7th, on Sycamore Springs Circle.  Upon arrival, officers found 58 year old GLENN H. LUTHER deceased in the garage.  LUTHER had apparently hanged himself.

     Another person residing at the residence told investigators that he had last talked to LUTHER about an hour and a half earlier that morning and that LUTHER had been threatening suicide in part due to criminal charges pending against him. 

     The body of the decedent was removed by the Baxter County Coroner's Office and is being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for autopsy to confirm cause and manner of death.

     No foul play is suspected.
