BOONE COUNTY MAN ARRESTED FOR BREAKING INTO IMPOUND LOT
12/17/2018
Robert R. Lambert |
A Boone County man was arrested today on several felony charges after an incident that took place on Sunday, December 16th. 44 year old ROBERT RAYMOND LAMBERT of Lead Hill had been previously arrested by the Mountain Home Police Department on December 14th at Walmart on various charges and had been taken to the Baxter County Jail. His vehicle was impounded by the city police at that time and had been taken to a local impound lot. LAMBERT was released from custody on December 16th at 9:15 AM.
After ROBERT LAMBERT was released from jail, he went to the impound lot to find his vehicle. The impound lot was closed and the lot was secured. LAMBERT was captured on video walking across the impound lot parking area and crawling under the fence. Once he was inside the fence, LAMBERT gained access to another vehicle that was in the impound lot, being a 2008 Toyota Infinity. LAMBERT used this vehicle to ram the gate open at the impound lot. LAMBERT then went back inside the impound lot and took his own vehicle, a Chevrolet Blazer, and then fled from the area in it.
Sheriff’s Investigators asked assistance from the Arkansas State Police in locating ROBERT LAMBERT. He was found this afternoon in Harrison, Arkansas and taken into custody. LAMBERT has been transported back to the Baxter County Jail where he is now incarcerated on new charges of:
Breaking or Entering (3 counts) – Felonies
Theft of Property (2 counts) – Felonies
Criminal Mischief – Felony
Criminal Mischief – Misdemeanor
LAMBERT has a bond of $50,000 on these charges, and he will appear before the Circuit Court to answer on January 10, 2019.
