On April 21st, 2018 a citizen called the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office and made a complaint of theft.  The COMPLAINANT found that his vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, was missing.  In its place was parked a dark colored Chevrolet Blazer that the COMPLAINANT recognized as belonging to the suspect Tony L. Farnam.  Responding Baxter County Sheriff’s Deputies ran a registration check on the Chevrolet Blazer and confirmed that the vehicle is registered to the above-listed SUSPECT. 

Later on April 21st, 2018 the Mountain Home Police Department made contact with the SUSPECT and the stolen vehicle at 1023 E. 9th Street, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and the vehicle was returned to the owner. 

55 year old Tony Lamar Farnam, of rural Mountain Home, was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with: 

Theft of Property, Class B Felony

Farnam is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on $5,000 bond pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on May 3 at 1 pm.
