At approximately 9:15 am this date, 911 received a call of a deceased male on Orchid Drive just West of Mountain Home, Ambulance personnel and Baxter County Sheriff’s Deputies and Investigators responded to the scene and found the victim deceased lying in bed.  The victim lived at the residence with his care taker. The Arkansas State Police and the Baxter County Coroner’s Office was contacted and arrived to assist with the investigation. 

The body of 72 year old Gary Wayne Galloway is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock to determine the cause and manner of death.  There is no foul play suspected and it is believed the victim died as the result of accidental choking.
