WOMAN ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING DRUG WARRANT

A rural Mountain Home woman, 49 year old RACHEL ANN CALLAWAY, was arrested and booked into the Detention Center Monday morning, April 2nd, on an outstanding drug warrant.
Sheriff’s Investigators obtained the warrant on March 27th after utilizing a confidential informant to make controlled buys of methamphetamine from CALLAWAY in September, 2017. Two controlled buys were made of less than two grams of methamphetamine each. These buys were monitored by investigators. A cellular telephone was used by CALLAWAY to facilitate these drug transactions.
Investigators applied for an arrest warrant for RACHEL CALLAWAY. She was served with the warrant Monday and taken to the Detention Center. She was released from custody after posting $5,000 bond as specified on the warrant.
RACHEL CALLAWAY will appear in the Circuit Court on April 12th to answer charges of:
Delivery of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) – 2 counts – Felonies
Unlawful Use of Communications Device – 2 counts – Felonies
