WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES SUNDAY AFTERNOON

On Sunday, March 11th, deputies arrested 26 year old BETHANI JEAN BEYER of rural Mountain Home on drug and traffic charges after being dispatched to a disturbance call on Baxter CR 632. At approximately 3:14 PM, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that a verbal altercation was taking place on Baxter CR 632 between two people in two separate vehicles. Deputies began to respond to the location and were given descriptions of the vehicles involved. Deputies encountered one of the vehicles coming toward them on Baxter CR 57 and noted that it was speeding in excess of the posted limit. Deputies turned around and initiated a vehicle stop. The driver was determined to be BETHANI JEAN BEYER.
BEYER stated she did not have a driver license, nor could she produce proof of liability insurance on the vehicle. It was later determined that BEYER had a suspended driver license. BEYER was subsequently taken into custody. During a search of her person and belongings, deputies found approximately two grams of methamphetamine, tramadol, and drug paraphernalia.
BETHANI JEAN BEYER was transported to the Detention Center and booked on charges of:
Possession of Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (methamphetamine) – Felony
Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance (tramadol) – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
Driving While License Suspended – Misdemeanor
Speeding – Misdemeanor
No Liability Insurance – Misdemeanor
BEYER remains in custody on $5,000 bond, and she will appear in the Circuit Court to answer on March 15th.
