AUTOPSY REPORT INDICATES DEATH OF 18 YEAR OLD WAS FROM NATURAL CAUSES

The Sheriff's Office has received the autopsy report on the death of 18 year old BROOKE MARIA DUPCHAK of Mountain Home, who passed away December 4, 2017. The State Medical Examiner's Office has determined the death to be due to natural causes from a medical/health related issue.

On Monday, December 4th at approximately 2:24 pm, Deputies and ambulance personnel responded to a 911 call of an unresponsive 18 year old female at a residence on Drake Lane, Mountain Home. When deputies arrived the female was lying in bed deceased. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office arrive and began an investigation.
Evidence was collected at the scene and numerous witnesses have been interviewed, Indications are that the victim has visited the resident and spent the night there. Based on the preliminary investigation, Investigators do not suspect foul play. The body of 18 year old Brooke Maria Dupchak of Mountain Home was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
The investigation is continuing.
