     Two people were arrested Thursday afternoon, January 25th, when officers conducted a probation compliance check at a house near Gassville.  38 year old probationer JULIEANN McMEECHAN and 30 year old HEATHER NICOLE McDANIEL were at the residence when officers arrived.  It was determined that McDANIEL has also been living at the residence.

     During a search of the residence, officers found various articles of drug paraphernalia.  These included smoking devices, digital scales, and numerous small baggies used to package and dispense drugs.  These items tested positive for methamphetamine residue.

     JULIEANN McMEECHAN and HEATHER McDANIEL were both arrested and transported to the Detention Center where they were booked on one count each of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a felony crime.  Each of them is being held in lieu of $3,500 bond and will appear in the Circuit Court to answer on February 1st.
