     Two people were arrested Wednesday morning, January 24th, when officers conducted a compliance check at the home of a probationer at 7536 Hwy 101 N in Gamaliel.  48 year old MICHAEL L. DENTON is a probationer with Arkansas Community Corrections and resides at that address. 

     During the course of the compliance check, officers found several items of drug paraphernalia used in the consumption of methamphetamine.  Officers also found 36 year old TINA MARIE HYLTON hiding from them inside a closet in the house. DENTON and HYLTON both admitted to having recently used methamphetamine.

     MICHAEL DENTON and TINA HYLTON were both arrested and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center where they were each booked on one charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a felony.  Bond was set at $2,500 each. MICHAEL DENTON also has a no bond hold for a probation violation.  They are set to appear in the Circuit Court on February 1st.
