2nd Arrest Made in Sale of Methamphetamine

Daniel Lynn Adams, 25 of rural Mountain Home was booked into the Baxter County Jail Wednesday on an outstanding warrant for Delivery of Methamphetamine. He turned himself in to Baxter County Authorities at approximately 5:30 pm.
Sheriff’s Investigators had obtained the warrant after an informant had purchased approximately 1.1 grams of methamphetamine from Adams and a co-defendant, Courtney Faith RAGLAND on March 13, 2017. Ragland was arrested on August 27, 2017 but Adams had remained at large.
This sale of Methamphetamine, which was monitored and recorded by investigators, took place at the Ultimate Car Wash in Mountain Home. A cellular telephone was used to facilitate the transaction.
Daniel Adams was charged with:
Delivery of Methamphetamine – Felony Unlawful Use of Communications Device – Felony Habitual Offender – Penalty Enhancement Failure to Appear Warrant Probation Violation
Adams is currently being held on bond of $8,835 on these charges and a No Bond Hold on his probation violation, pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 19, 2017.
Daniel Adams has 12 prior bookings in the Baxter County Jail, served 9 months at the Department of Community Correction's Center and is currently on probation.
