Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people early this morning on drug charges in two separate incidents.
At approximately 2:58 AM this morning, Corporal Rockie Morrell was dispatched to the Citgo station at 6160 Hwy 5 North on a complaint of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. HANNAFORD was subsequently arrested for DWI-Drugs and other traffic offenses and was taken to the Detention Center. Prior to entering the Detention Center, HANNAFORD was asked if he had any illegal substances on his person, which he denied. However, once HANNAFORD was thoroughly searched inside the Detention Center, he was found to have in his possession approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
