The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office will host an “open house” venue for the public on Friday, August 25th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  This is something that we occasionally offer to allow members of the public to visit our facilities, converse with our staff, and learn more about our operations and goals.

     Tours of the Detention Center will be given, and the public will be allowed to view and ask questions about any of the facilities and equipment we have and use.  We will offer normal jail food items for sampling, which will be beans, cornbread, and bologna sandwiches. 

     We invite and encourage the public to come and visit with us Friday evening.  We will gather to meet and greet behind the Sheriff’s Administration Offices building.
