The body of 33 year old BRANDON SHANE COMSTOCK, who had been reported as a missing person since July 17th, was found this evening, July 26th.

     A call was received at the 911 Center at approximately 5:03 PM from a residence on Terry Place reporting that the homeowners had found a body inside an inoperable vehicle belonging to them that was parked on their property.    Terry Place is in the general vicinity of where MR. COMSTOCK had been reported missing from.  Deputies responded to the scene and secured it until Investigators arrived.

     Documentation found on the body as well as previously known and recorded tattoos allowed Investigators to tentatively identify the body as BRANDON COMSTOCK.  Notification was made to his family, and Investigators have met with them.

     The cause and manner of death will not be known or determined until after an autopsy has been performed.  The body was removed by the Baxter County Coroner’s Office and will be sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office for the autopsy.  The investigation remains active awaiting the results of said autopsy.
