BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED SATURDAY AFTERNOON

The Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old RASHEL KATRINA FARNAM of rural Mountain Home on Saturday, June 24th, following an investigation into a burglary that occurred at a residence on Old Military Road.
The home owners reported their residence had been broken into and several articles stolen. Entry had been made through a sliding back door. The stolen articles included several firearms, jewelry, and other items. The value of these items is still being determined. RASHEL FARNAM was named as a potential suspect in the burglary.
Deputies began searching for FARNAM, and she was located and detained later in the afternoon Saturday. FARNAM was brought to the criminal investigation division to be questioned about the crime. Additional evidence had been developed during the day that linked FARNAM to the burglary. FARNAM was uncooperative and made threats in the presence of investigators that she was going to kill the victims.
RASHEL FARNAM was taken to the Detention Center and incarcerated on charges of:
Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Felony
Terroristic Threatening – Felony
FARNAM is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond and will appear in the Baxter Circuit Court to answer on July 6th.
