David Mooney

     A Silver Alert is in the process of being issued by the Arkansas State Police at request of the Sheriff's Office for a missing Baxter County man.

     The Sheriff's Office was notified at 9:51 AM today that 71 year old DAVID MOONEY of rural Mountain Home had left his residence on Carnation Drive on foot and could not be located.  DAVID MOONEY is said to suffer from dementia and is unable to care for himself and provide for his safety.

     Sheriff's deputies and officers from assisting agencies searched the area for several hours but have not been able to locate DAVID MOONEY.  He is believed to be wearing a red flannel long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.  MOONEY is approximately 6 ft, 185 lbs, grey hair, blue eyes. 

     Anyone having contact with DAVID MOONEY or knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement agency.
