Felisha Ann Jones |
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a trespassing call this morning and arrested 50 year old FELISHA ANN JONES of rural Mountain Home on several charges.
A complaint call was received at approximately 4:51 AM today from 313 Hicks Road reporting that FELISHA JONES was beating on the door of the residence trying to get in. JONES had previously been advised and warned to stay away from that residence.
Deputy Craig Gates responded, but JONES was not to be found upon his arrival. A second call at 5:05 AM came in indicating that JONES had returned. This time Deputy Gates found JONES on the property and told her she was under arrest. As Deputy Gates attempted to take JONES into custody, she pulled away and began fighting with the deputy. FELISHA JONES punched the deputy in the head, bit his arm, and spit in his face. She was eventually subdued and transported to the Detention Center. Deputy Gates did not require any medical attention.
FELISHA JONES was booked on charges of:
Battery in the Second Degree – Felony
Resisting Arrest – Misdemeanor
Criminal Trespass – Misdemeanor
She is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond and will appear in the Circuit Court to answer on January 26, 2017.
