Dominic Anthony Swingle |
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old DOMINIC ANTHONY SWINGLE of rural Mountain Home on Thursday evening, December 29th on a felony charge of Aggravated Assault after responding to a disturbance call at 144 CR 989 at 8:50 PM.
Deputies were told that SWINGLE had shown up at the residence intoxicated and acting aggressively toward people there. He then allegedly took out a knife and took a swing at two people with that knife. SWINGLE then left the premises, and the others at the residence also left.
When they later returned home, they discovered that SWINGLE had come back to the residence and was passed out in the kitchen with blood all around him. It was at this time that the Sheriff’s Office was called. Deputy Jacob Zappa arrived to find SWINGLE in the kitchen with a large cut to his right hand. An ambulance was called for, and SWINGLE was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injury. Afterwards, he was taken to the Detention Center and booked in at 10:58 PM on one charge of Aggravated Assault. SWINGLE stated he cut his hand when he stabbed a tree with his knife.
SWINGLE remains in custody in lieu of $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court to answer on January 5, 2017.
