     The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a Level 3 Sex Offender (high risk to re-offend) has registered with the Sheriff’s Office and is now in Baxter County

NAME:                       CHRIS ALAN GLADNEY

DATE OF BIRTH:   05/05/1960

HOME ADDRESS:  HOMELESS

                                    Baxter County, Arkansas

     The offender is homeless.  He has been placed on an ankle monitor for tracking purposes and is required to personally report to the Sheriff’s Office to check in once per week.            

     The offender was convicted of Sexual Indecency With a Child (2 counts) on June 24, 2010.  The offenses involved Gladney exposing himself to a number of other people outside of their homes.

     This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.  This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.  This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders.  Citizen abuse will not be tolerated.  Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
