Rural Mountain Home Man Charged with Residential Burglary and Battery

On 10-05-2016 at approximately 5:30 pm, Baxter County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 252 Cochran Drive for a dispute between neighbors. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the complainant who stated that his neighbor came over to his house yelling and screaming and beating on his door. The neighbor made entry to the house without being invited and struck the victim in the stomach and threatened him, stating if he called the police anymore on him that he was going to come over there and beat him up.
A video of the entire incident was provided to Sheriff’s Investigators for review. After reviewing the video and conferring with the prosecutor, the offender was arrested at his residence without incident.
Ricky Douglas Estes, age 55 was charged with:
Residential Burglary….Class C Felony
Battery in the 3rd degree….. Class A Misdemeanor
Ricky Estes is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on $10,000 Bond pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 27th and 9 am.
