The Sheriff’s Office was called to a suicide scene yesterday, July 7th, at 285 CR 99.  A man called the 911 Center at approximately 2:34 PM to report he had come home to find his wife deceased outside the residence in the yard and believed she had taken her own life.

     Upon arrival of Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency medical personnel, they discovered the victim, identified as 71 year old BENNIE CHANDLER of the residence, to be deceased.  She had used a handgun to end her life and had left a note explaining what she was intending to do.

     Sheriff’s Investigators and the Baxter County Coroner’s Office processed the scene and removed the body of the deceased.
