WATSON DEATH FROM JAN 4TH DETERMINED TO BE FROM NATURAL CAUSES

UPDATE WITH MEDICAL EXAMINER’S CONCLUSION: 04/12/2016

The Sheriff’s Office has received the report from the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office concerning the unattended death of 20 year old BRENNAN M. WATSON of Mountain Home that was reported on January 4th.

According to the Medical Examiner’s Report, BRENNAN WATSON’s cause of death was “Unknown Natural Causes”, and the manner of death was “Natural”. The report indicated no evidence of external or internal trauma, and the toxicology results were negative for all substances.

ORIGINAL RELEASE: 01/04/2016 

The Sheriff’s Office was called by Baxter Regional Medical Center Ambulance personnel to an unattended death this afternoon at 1505 Hicks Road in rural Mountain Home.  The Sheriff’s Office received the notification at approximately 2:07 PM.  Sheriff’s Investigators and personnel from the Coroner’s Office responded and were on scene until approximately 3:46 PM.

     Emergency responders had found 20 year old BRENNAN M. WATSON of the residence to be deceased inside the house upon their arrival. He was found unresponsive by a member of the family, and a call was placed to the 911 center.   No cause for the death was apparent.   The decedent will be sent by the Coroner’s Office to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock to determine cause of death.  There is no indication of foul play.
