HOME VISIT TO PAROLEE'S RESIDENCE NETS TWO ARRESTS

Two men were arrested Tuesday afternoon, March 22nd, when Sheriff’s Investigators and officers with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections conducted a home visit of a parolee at 187 CR 458.
During the home visit, officers found controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. These included Carisoprodol and Colnazepam, both schedule IV controlled substances, and also syringes, smoking pipes, and a marijuana grinder.
Both the parolee, 53 year old JOHNNIE JOE COLLINS, and another man, 51 year old FRANK D. COLLINS, were living there. Both of them were taken into custody and transported to the Detention Center and booked on the following charges:
JOHNNIE COLLINS:
Parole Violation – Felony
Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance (2 counts) – Misdemeanors
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
FRANK COLLINS:
Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance (2 counts) – Misdemeanors
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
Both are being held in lieu of $3,500 bond each on the new charges, while JOHNNIE COLLINS is also being held without bond for the parole violation.
